With Laurel March and Abigail Bell
Often taught in vinyasa and power yoga classes, sun salutations are a meditative practice in which we bow to and honor the light of the sun. They are also a great way to open and strengthen the body, while linking breath to movement.
Join Laurel and Abigail for a two-hour workshop in clarifying the biomechanics of Sun Salutations. Areas of focus will include the shoulders, core, pelvis, and legs, sparking a new awareness to the essential movements of a vinyasa/power class. Sections of the class will include a creative use of props to help you feel and practice the alignment that makes sense in your body.
Class will include a warm up, time to play and explore, flow, and a cool down, leaving you feeling well rounded and energized for the rest of your day.
Beneficial for those new to vinyasa/power yoga, regular practitioners, and new yoga instructors.
