The mind is like the steering wheel in the car, and you need to have a grip on it to be successful in life. In this course, you will learn the Ayurvedic view on the three states of mind. Learn how to assess your present state of your mind, and some simple techniques to bring your mind into a more peaceful state.
Babaji - Bio
Babaji Satya Narayana Dasa, PhD, is the author of 15 books related to Indian culture and philosophy. Founder of the Jiva Institute of Vaishnava Studies to promote Vedic culture, philosophy, and Ayurveda through education, he regularly teaches classes on Hindu philosophy, the Sanskrit language, and ancient Indian sciences for scholars from around the world. He has initiated a program for preservation, translation, and publication of ancient Indian works of science and wisdom, and serves as a visiting professor at the State University of New Jersey, Rutgers, and American Hindu University. Winner of many honors and awards, he maintains an office in Vrindavan, India. In 2013, he was honored by the president of India Pranab Mukherjee for his extraordinary contribution in presenting Vedic culture and philosophy to students and audiences within India and internationally.
Jessica Richmond - Bio
Jessica Richmond is a Vedic Psychotherapist . She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development, and a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. Jessica draws upon her decades of experience of studying people, their behavior, and their mind, in order to help clients manage anxiety, depression, anger, jealousy, and grief. When she had the great fortune to meet her Guru, Dr Satyanarayana Dasa,"Babaji," he taught her the ancient science of Vedic Psychology, and how to apply these concepts to her work. Together, they have created a new approach, blending Vedic and Western psychology, to teach people how to understand the mind, control the mind, and live a happier and healthier life.
