Since 2006, yoga has been an integral part of Laurel’s life, leading her to become a 200-hour certified Yoga Instructor in 2012. Since then she has continued her education through numerous workshops and teacher trainings including restorative yoga, chair yoga, assisting, mindfulness, and Reiki 1. In 2017 she began her 300-hour teacher training with Natasha Rizopoulos at Down Under School of Yoga.
Laurel has experience in leading Gentle, Vinyasa, Power, and Restorative yoga classes to a wide range of participants. She enjoys inspiring others to improve their wellness, remain present, and build a deeper connection to their body, mind, breath, and being. Through thoughtful and compassionate instruction Laurel encourages students to be sensitive to their experience and respect what their body is telling them.
Laurel also holds a Bachelors degree in Art & Art History. She enjoys traveling, playing/writing music and has toured nationally and internationally with her past bands.
