Emily Frank

After several years of somewhat inconsistent yoga practice, Emily found herself coming to the mat more and more frequently after moving to New York City in 2015. Amidst the stressors of city life, she began to feel just how much yoga was helping her beyond the physical aspects. Since then, yoga has been her chosen method of deepening the connection between her mind and body and achieving a sense of peace and calm.

She traveled to India to complete her 200-hour Teacher Training at Yoga Vidya Gurukul ashram in early 2018, where she studied Hatha, Ashtanga, and Karma Yoga, as well as Yoga Nidra. Her goal as a yoga teacher is to serve as a liason of Western and Eastern virtues and ultimately to help people help themselves to heal and grow. She is interested in finding a yogic balance in lifestyle, health, philosophy, and service. Finally, she firmly believes that yoga is for everyone!
